Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 Delhi-Narkanda or Kalka-Narkanda: Leave Delhi/Kalka after early breakfast. After a long scenic drive, halt at Narkanda followed by overnight stay in Hotel Hatu.

Day 2 Narkanda-Sarahan (103 kms / 4 hrs): Leave after breakfast. Transfer from Narkanda to Sarahan. On arrival, check into Hotel Shrikhand.Rest of the day at leisure, followed by O/N stay.

Day 3 Sarahan-Sangla (99 kms / 4 hrs): Visit 800 years old Bhimakali Temple complex in morning. Drive to Banjara Camp, Sangla. En route visit Kalpa. Kalpa offers fantabulous view of the 6000 metre high Kinner Kailash massif.

Day 4 Sangl: Visit Chitkul (3450m) - 20 kms from Camp. This is the last village on the Indo-Tibetan trade route. You can also trek upto Nagasthi (4 kms) - one of the last India outposts.

Day 5 Sangla: Today, visit Kamru fort, fisheries farm, Batseri village. Indulge in any of the adventure activities in the camp. Bon-fire in the evening.

Day 6 Sangla-Chail (245 kms / 9 hrs): Today, we drive from Sangla to Chail. On arrival,

night stay in Camp/Hotel.

Day 7 Chail-Kalka or Chail-Delhi: Leave for Kalka/Delhi for onward journey.

Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 Kolkata: In the morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival, meet a Travelmasti representative and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Kolkata - Dibrugarh (by air) - Mon:In the early morning, drive to the airport for the flight to Dibrugarh. Upon arrival, meet and assistance by Travelmasti representative and drive to Mon. It is interesting to see the tattoos covered faces of people wearing feathered headgears and traditional dress. Here you can find excellent wood carvings, daos (Machetes), guns, gunpowder, headgears etc. Overnight stay in tourist lodge.

Day 3 Mon: In the morning visit typical Konyak tribal village, Shangnyu. There is a wonderful wooden monument measuring 8 feet. in height and 12 feet. breadth which is believed to be constructed by heavenly angels. The carvings of human beings and other creatures are engraved on this monument. You can also visit the Konyak Murungs, where one can still see the collection of human skulls.

Day 4 Mon - Mokokchung: Today drive to Mokokchung- the cultural centre of the AO Nagas. In the evening stay in the circuit house.

Day 5 Mokokchung - Kohima (about 180 kms.): This morning drive to Kohima-the capital of Nagaland and the hill station. In the evening reach Kohima and stay in the hotel.

Day 6 Kohima: Today visit the Khonoma, an Angami tribal village, about 20 kms. towards the west of Kohima. In Kohima, visit the War Cemetry, the state Museum treasures rare collection of articles of different tribes which speak about the history and tradition of the Nagas and later visit the local market.

Day 7 Kohima - Dimapur (about 74 kms.) - Kolkata: Today, drive to Dimapur airport to take the flight to Kolkata.

In the evening, you can take a boat ride in India's largest river, the Brahmaputra. Also pay a visit to Srimantha Sankardeva Kalakshetra, Assam's biggest art complex. O/N stay at the hotel.

DAY 2 Guwahati - Shillong: In the morning, undertake a 100-kms road journey to Shillong. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Reserve a visit to the Rock Gardens for the evening. O/N hotel stay.

DAY 3 Shillong-Cherapunjee-Mawsynram-Shillong: From Shillong, a full day excursion to Cherapunjee and Mawsynram. The former has a number of amazing limestone caves some of which are yet unexplored. And, the latter is the place that receives the world's heaviest rainfall. Later drive back to Shillong hotel for O/N stay.

DAY 4 Shillong-Jaintia Hills-Shillong: From Shillong, drive to Jowai and then take a full

day excursion to the Jaintia tribal villages in Jaintia Hills. Here, you can see tribal life from close quarters. Drive back to Shillong for O/N hotel stay.

DAY 5 - Shillong - Kaziranga: Today, drive to Kaziranga and transfer to the hotel. Later visit to the Kaziranga National Park. Here you can see a variety of animals and birds amidst boundless natural beauty. Return to the hotel for O/N stay.

DAY 6 - Kaziranga: Today, visit Kaziranga National Park, as there might be lot of things left unexplored. Take an elephant safari inside the park. Also try the jeep safari. Return to hotel for O/N stay.

DAY 7 - Kaziranga - Jorhat - Majuli Island: This morning, drive to Jorhat. From Nemati

Ghat in Jorhat, take a steamer for Majuli Island. This is the biggest island in the world and has been declared as a National Heritage Site. You can stay at the Circuit House in the island for the night.

DAY 8 - Majuli Island: This day is meant for fun at the Majuli Island. Visit the Xatras of Vaishnava culture. There are quite a few Mishing travel villages here. The place is picturesque and serene. Strolling on the island is great fun.Return to hotel for O/N stay.

DAY 9 - Majuli Island - Jorhat - Dibrugarh: Next on your itinerary is a drive to Dibrugarh via Jorhat. Hotel check-in followed by O/N stay.

DAY 10 - Dibrugarh: This morning, drive to Rukmini Island. This beach island is located in Vidarbha, a mythological place in the midst of River Brahmaputra, and around 11 kms from Dibrugarh. Rukmini has amazing sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and hordes of migratory birds. The sunrise and sunset look splendid from here, as do the majestic Himalayan ranges. Return to Dibrugarh for O/N stay.

DAY 11 Dibrugarh-Kolkata/Delhi-Onward Destination: From Dibrugarh, transfer to the airport that has connecting flights to Delhi or Kolkata.
